The customer here tried to save money and instead of using the plasterer I recommended he went for another. The resultant mess took hours of remedial work to put right & cost him more money than he saved.
The photo right shows the gap left beside the door frame, which I had to fill in.
The photo below shows the awful mess left which took hours to scrape off the floor – my plasterer never drops a spot of plaster. It also shows the areas of wall not plastered, which I had to do.
The photo bottom right shows that he didn’t use enough plaster to cover the previous tile adhesive, left after tile removal. The whole point was to cover over it to provide a surface ready for painting. Again I had to make this good, in quite a few places.
